Keri is 22  and soon to be brother-in-law Jason is in the background cheering her on!

Ok for all you doctors out there, here is the xray  of Mike Skjei's shoulder.  Please notice where the socket is.  He only screamed once and then he manned up like all good Skjei's do.  He is now leading a normal though not pain free life.   OK  he is here in Las Vegas to see a specialist.  Everyone cross your fingers that this story has a good ending.

Wooo we finally got a house

 

Hello everyone this is Sam and have some great news about our house hunt.  As of the 15th we have an accepted bid.  Lots of dancing around and excited laughing over here.  Will try to get some more pictures up later.

I just heard from Janelle and while she has promised to get on and blog herself- (as soon as her kids teach her how)  I thought I would pass on the update on someone dear to us all-Margaret Jean.  She is at Janelle's and while she was doing ok- ( a bit confused as to where she is and who is around ) she was failing in her strength.  The therapy from Prescott had helped but the time frame of going to Little Rock AK and trying to get things connected has been hard on her.  She was getting about 45 minutes a day of physical therapy from people who came to the house,  that was just not enough for her to continue to improve.  So today Janelle brought her to an Acute Rehab facility    The doctor prescribed a months stay to see if they could build her strength up.  I hear it is a very nice place and Janelle will be joining her for lunch each day.   Lee is headed to visit and will spend some time with her and the week after that Bob and Judy will go and visit.  So that sounds good and of course by next Thursday when their kids come to visit, Janelle and Tom can take over the play by play of Margaret Jeans health saga. We can also use this blog to send our greetings.   I love you Margaret Jean.  You were my second mom and such a major part of my memories of Madison, and growing up and some how of getting into trouble!  I do want to go on record that I was not one of the ones that spent time in the Madison Jail.  But that is another story for others to tell.  :)   Right Mike? Jimmy? Charles and Bobby.   Wait not sure Bobby was in on that one.  We will have to wait and see if any one blogs and sets the story straight.  
One more thing I heard,  that is that Bob and Judy celebrated their 25th anniversary with a trip somewhere.  Unfortunately for this blog and those of you kind enough to come and read it, I never heard where they went.  I am thinking they had fun though!  So Bob and Judy, you need to get on and catch us up on your adventures.  That is it for now.  I encourage you all to sign up and post for yourself.  I am sure there were more than 2 recipes that we want to share out there.  :)

Never a dull moment!  We had a great time visiting this last summer.  Really good to put faces to names and stories I've heard.  Nice, also, to see all the places from Kathryn's past.  You all need to plan to come see us in sunny Las Vegas soon!  I hope we can come back and see you all before too much time passes.

We are presently visiting good friends in Pine Valley, Utah, with fresh snow on the ground!  We visited Zion yesterday and will try to get some pictures up soon. Now that the ball as started rolling let's keep it moving!  Try to post occasionally and we can all stay in touch. All for now.  Cheers, Stephen(Kathryn's better half?!)

While you will be able to view this site and be able to comment to a post that is already here, you will not be able to post yourself.  For that to happen, you need to send me your email address, preferably a gmail address.  I will send you an invite to become an author, you will respond to that email and follow directions.  You will have to get a gmail address at that time if you do not have one already.  There is no cost involved. When you do that you will go back to the http://skjeiconnections.blogspot.com and then you will sign in and  you can view and add a new post.  After that the program seems to remember me and not really sign me out, so it became easy after that.  I suppose if you look on a different computer, you would have to sign in there also.    
 We should be able to add our family history's so we all know who is who, share our family recipes, and of course add all the pictures, videos etc. that you want.  :)  I will add more last names as you send them to me if you can't add them yourselves.   The same goes with the events and birthdays, email me or call and I will add them.  If you have any other brilliant or even good ideas for this blog, let me know.  This is my first blog attempt.
